BezalelCapstone Platform Terms of Use, Privacy Notice and Subscription Terms
Tailored résumés and AI matching
Creating a tailored résumé is optional. When you agree in the résumé workspace, we send the text from your uploaded or pasted job specification and your saved profile’s résumé facts (bio, skills, tools, employment and education) to OpenAI to suggest relevant matches and presentation emphasis.
We exclude structured contact fields, billing data and identity documents from this AI request. Do not include confidential or unnecessary personal information in the job specification or résumé text, and provide only material you have permission to use.
Automated matches can be incomplete or incorrect: review each claim, supply missing facts yourself and check the résumé before using it. Tailored versions are saved separately and do not change your main candidate profile. You choose which contact fields appear in the résumé.
Publishing creates a read-only link that anyone holding it can view and download without signing in. Draft edits remain private until you explicitly update the shared version; you can instead create a separate version or revoke a link.
Revocation prevents future access through that link but cannot recall copies already downloaded or otherwise retained by recipients. You can delete saved résumé versions from the workspace.
1. Company and acceptance
The Platform is operated by BEZALELCAPSTONE (PTY) LTD, registration number 2026/571556/07, registered in South Africa. By accessing the Platform or creating an account, you accept these Terms of Use, Privacy Notice and Subscription Terms. Official company information is available through the CIPC BizPortal: https://www.bizportal.gov.za/.
The company is not currently registered for VAT.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Users must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate, current information. Candidates are responsible for their profiles, CVs, assessments, availability and preferences. Recruiters must accurately represent their identity, company, authority and genuine hiring purpose. Users must protect credentials and promptly report suspected misuse.
Accounts may be moderated, suspended or terminated for fraud, unlawful conduct, security risks or material breach.
3. Candidate services
Candidates are not charged for registering or maintaining a candidate profile, completing assessments, being displayed, searched, matched, referred, contacted or considered for an opportunity through the Platform. Candidate access to employment-related services is not conditional on payment.
BezalelCapstone does not deduct placement fees, commissions or subscription charges from candidate remuneration. Recruiters must not recover BezalelCapstone subscription or recruitment costs from candidates through the Platform. Profile availability remains subject to verification, moderation, completeness, privacy and visibility settings.
4. Platform role and outcomes
BezalelCapstone provides recruitment technology for professional discovery and communication. It is not the employer, agent or representative of a Candidate or Recruiter and is not a party to their employment or contracting relationship. Users conduct their own identity, qualification, reference, right-to-work and opportunity checks.
The Platform does not guarantee employment, placement, interviews, candidates, hiring outcomes, responses or the accuracy of every user statement or automated suggestion.
5. Recruiter launch offer subscriptions and billing
While the limited launch offer is available, an eligible new recruiter may start one free three-calendar-month trial after completing the required recruiter details, verifying their email and creating their company workspace. No card or payment details are required, and no verification debit or subscription payment is initiated for this trial.
The exact trial end is recorded on the server and displayed in the workspace. The offer has no published closing date; closing new enrollment does not shorten an already granted trial. One trial is allowed per recruiter account, including after profile edits or company recreation. A restricted redemption record is retained to prevent repeat claims.
At expiry the workspace and public company/job discovery become unavailable unless another valid entitlement applies. The trial does not convert automatically into paid billing.
After it ends, the recruiter must separately choose a paid monthly or annual plan, review its current price, currency, amount due now, recurring interval and cancellation terms, and explicitly authorize payment through Paystack. Paid access begins only after server verification of the full configured subscription payment.
Existing paid subscriptions and approved payment exemptions continue under their agreed terms and do not restart a trial. Existing paid periods renew according to the agreed interval. Failed, reversed or disputed payments may require an updated payment method and may end paid access.
6. Cancellation and refunds
Recruiter cancellation requests stop future renewal after payment-provider confirmation. A pending request is shown as pending; contact support if confirmation fails. Subject to mandatory statutory rights, access ordinarily continues through the agreed trial or paid-through end date and ordinary cancellation does not create a prorated refund.
Cancellation and refund are separate actions. Nothing in these terms removes applicable cooling-off, cancellation, reasonable-penalty, refund or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Exceptional full or partial refunds may be considered by an authorised administrator, subject to law, the remaining refundable amount and Paystack confirmation.
Refunds may be requested, pending, successful or failed and are not complete merely because requested. Chargebacks and disputes may be investigated and access may be restricted where payment is reversed.
7. Responsibilities and acceptable use
Users must act lawfully and professionally. They must not scrape, resell or build unauthorised databases from Candidate information; send spam; discriminate unlawfully; impersonate another person; submit malware; bypass access controls; abuse assessments; or use information for unrelated advertising, credit or insurance purposes.
Recruiters may use Candidate information only for genuine professional opportunities, must restrict access to authorised people, secure it, retain it only as lawfully necessary and honour applicable privacy rights.
8. Content and intellectual property
Users retain rights in content they lawfully submit and grant BezalelCapstone the limited rights required to host, process, display and operate it according to account and visibility settings. Users warrant that they may provide that content. The Platform, branding, software and original materials remain protected by intellectual-property law.
No licence is granted except the limited right to use the Services under these terms.
9. Availability, liability and indemnity
The Platform is provided on an available basis and may be interrupted by maintenance, security events, networks or service providers. To the extent permitted by law, BezalelCapstone is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, user conduct, unsuccessful engagements, inaccurate user content or third-party interruption.
Nothing excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. A user indemnifies BezalelCapstone against lawful third-party claims caused by that user's unlawful use, material breach, content or infringement, except to the extent caused by BezalelCapstone.
10. Termination, governing law and changes
Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation. Paid recruiter access normally ends at the paid-period end unless immediate suspension is justified by serious breach or expressly authorised by an administrator. Provisions concerning payment, privacy, intellectual property, disputes and liability survive where appropriate.
South African law governs these terms, subject to mandatory rights, and South African courts have jurisdiction. Material changes will be notified where reasonably required; urgent legal or security changes may take effect immediately.
11. Privacy notice
BezalelCapstone processes personal information under POPIA and other applicable law to provide and secure accounts, profiles, search, messaging, assessments, subscriptions, support and administration; prevent fraud and misuse; meet legal duties; and improve the Platform.
Processing relies as appropriate on contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests or consent. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party cross-site advertising. We do not use automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate safeguards.
12. Information collected and purposes
Candidate information may include identity and contact details, profile photographs, CVs, work and education history, skills, tools, rates, availability, preferences, assessments, portfolio and visibility choices. Recruiter information may include identity, contact, designation, company, industry, company size, hiring needs and activity.
Operational records may include authentication, sessions, searches, profile views, messages, shortlists, changes, support, device and security data. Payment records may include Paystack references, billing status, plan, amounts, dates and masked card details; full card details are collected by the approved payment provider and are not stored by Capstone.
Secret keys and reusable authorisation values remain server-side.
14. Security and retention
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards restrict access and protect information, although no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Product and security activity is normally retained for up to 24 months. Account and profile information is retained while required to provide the service and for a reasonable deletion period.
Financial, refund, tax, fraud, dispute, legal-hold and audit records may be retained after account deletion where lawfully required. Backups expire through controlled retention cycles; de-identified aggregates may be retained longer.
15. POPIA rights and contact
Subject to legal limits, data subjects may request access, correction or deletion, object to or restrict qualifying processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and complain to South Africa's Information Regulator. Account deletion does not require deletion of financial or legal records that must be retained.
Use the verified contact published on the Site, info@bezalelcapstone.com, for account, subscription, privacy, security, complaint or legal enquiries. Do not send identity documents until a secure verification method is provided.
16. Independent recruiter company sites and workspaces
Recruiter-branded environments operate within Bezalel Capstone. The named recruitment company is responsible for its authority to recruit, branding, introductions, services, job advertisements, claims, communications, lawful selection practices and employer/client instructions.
It must have permission to upload its content and must not imply that Capstone has verified every claim or guarantees an appointment. Capstone provides the hosting and recruitment technology and remains responsible for its own applicable legal duties.
Each recruiter and employer must assess and fulfil its own personal-information obligations for the processing it determines; use of this platform does not automatically make every company only an operator acting for Capstone. Staff and invited employer clients must use their own verified accounts and only their granted company or presentation access.
Recruiter internal notes, other clients and other recruiters' applications are private. Report misleading content, unlawful recruitment, misuse or security concerns to info@bezalelcapstone.com.
17. Candidate applications pools discovery and showcases
A candidate has one Capstone account and may browse published jobs without becoming visible to recruiters. Registration from a recruiter site identifies Bezalel Capstone as the account platform and names the initial recruiter connection. Wider authorised-recruiter discovery is a separate optional choice, off by default for that registration context.
Applying to one job shares an application with that job's recruiter only; it does not join an ongoing talent pool, enable wider directory discovery or authorise a public catalogue. Joining a recruiter's pool, allowing wider discovery and allowing a public recruiter-showcase preview are separate choices.
Candidate admin approval and required profile completeness gate active applications and recruiter profile access. A recruiter selecting all or selected candidates for a catalogue cannot override approval, candidate opt-outs, audience permission or explicit public-showcase consent.
Public previews are limited to first name and surname initial, general country, professional summary, skills/titles and composed portrait; contact details, identity documents and CV download references are excluded.
Stop discovery, withdraw a particular application, leave a particular talent pool or withdraw public-showcase consent using the separate controls. These actions do not silently perform one another.
18. Dated applications and employer presentations
Applications and agreed employer presentations store dated profile and opportunity snapshots so later profile edits do not silently rewrite what was submitted. An internal recruiter match or shortlist entry is not a candidate application or consent to an employer disclosure.
Identifiable employer presentations require the candidate's agreement to the particular opportunity, named receiving employer and proposed snapshot. Employer clients receive only the presentations actively granted to their employer account; the new client presentation service does not use an unrestricted public bearer link.
Revocation prevents future access through the service but cannot recall information already viewed, downloaded or otherwise lawfully retained by a recipient. Recruiters and employers remain responsible for lawful subsequent use, security, retention, candidate rights and any additional disclosure.
Requests for correction or deletion of historical material are handled with the applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations. Account deletion removes or redacts recruitment profile snapshots in the service; separate financial, security, dispute and legally necessary records may remain as described in the retention notice.
19. Profile portraits and recruiter branding
Capstone may retain a supplied transparent candidate foreground separately from the original upload and any rendered photo. Authorised views can display that same foreground over Capstone or the relevant recruiter's background without creating another candidate account or changing who may view the candidate.
Branding does not grant permission to disclose a profile. Ordinary candidate and client views show composed portraits; source-image editing is restricted to Capstone administrators. A one-time recovery of legacy background cutouts may use an approved image service under the applicable processing arrangements, with output review before use.
Inaccurate or altered portraits should be reported for correction; existing originals are preserved during the portrait replacement workflow.
20. Moderation suspension and candidate continuity
Recruiter account approval is not an endorsement of the recruiter's claims and does not remove Capstone's ability to review, disapprove or suspend an organisation for a legitimate moderation, legal or security reason. Suspension removes its public company/job discovery and blocks new recruiter invitations and workspace operations.
Capstone requests cessation of future subscription debits and records provider confirmation separately; a pending or failed provider action must not be represented as completed. Candidate accounts, other recruiter opportunities and a candidate's own application history remain available subject to the candidate's own account status.
Trial expiry or recruiter suspension does not transfer ownership of candidate accounts to that recruiter or erase their history. No provision creates a placement, employment, interview, earnings or other outcome guarantee, or excludes responsibilities or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
